Today National Instrument announced its acquisition of GOOP Development Suite (GDS).

Now every LabVIEW developer can take advantage of common standards to document code using UML(Unified Modelling Language), refactor existing code and even generate code from UML diagrams. The tool comes with a very neat icon editor to customize the looks of classes and their methods. There is a collection of design patterns that can help programmers solve reoccuring programming tasks more easily.
